Gregorio Spini

Gregorio Spini was born in Milan in 1958. He is a designer who approached the profession from a diverse background.

In 1996, he founded Kundalini, a unique example in the lighting industry of a company that achieved global commercial and critical success from scratch. This success has led to direct collaborations with some of the greatest architects and designers of our time, including Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, Future Systems, Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Karim Rashid, and many others. In 2008, he left his company to work as a freelance designer and as a design consultant and brand strategy advisor. In 2010, he co-founded CDC (Colani Design Corporation) and contributes to the management of the work of the master Luigi Colani in Italy and around the world. He is the author of several editorial projects and has lectured in English at the Master's program in Product Design at the Politecnico di Milano. He was elected a member of the Business Department of ADI (Italian Industrial Design Association) and led the ADI Impresa Docet project, where he showcased the leading Italian design companies before a large audience.
