Vistosi is among the winners of the 2025 Red Dot Design Award, one of the most prestigious international design awards, having won the prize in the Product Design category with two collections: Anisette, designed by Francesco Lucchese, and Plissé, designed by Chiaramonte & Marin.

This significant achievement recognises the company’s ongoing commitment to combining innovation, design quality and master craftsmanship, confirming the value of ‘Made in Italy’ and Murano blown glass on the international design scene.

Established in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious design awards. Each year, an international jury selects products that stand out for their innovation, design quality, functionality and sustainability, recognising the very best in contemporary design.

For Vistosi, this is a particularly significant accolade, coming on the heels of the Red Dot Award it won in 2017 for the Sata collection, confirming a path of continuous evolution and a constant focus on design culture.

With Plissé, designed by Chiaramonte & Marin, blown glass meets the softness of fabric in a refined interplay of materials, giving rise to a collection that evokes the charm of classic lamps through a contemporary design language. The glass diffuser encloses a delicate fabric shade which, whether the light is on or off, creates an elegant interplay of transparency, colours and textures, lending rooms a warm, welcoming atmosphere full of character.

Designed to suit both residential and commercial settings, Plissé stands out for its balance between aesthetic refinement and the quality of light, making it a piece of furniture that enhances spaces with discretion and character.

The collection is expanding today with new pendant lights in medium and small sizes and the introduction of a wall-mounted version, which echoes the distinctive lines of the original model whilst broadening its design possibilities. Available with an LED light source, Plissé offers a range of finishes in dark amber, smoked, burnt earth, antique green and clear crystal, paired with frames in satin-finish steel or matt bronze. The range is rounded off by new fabric options for the lampshade, which allow for further customisation and make the collection even more versatile within contemporary interior design projects.
