After winning the 2025 Archiproducts Design Award, the Dione collection adds a new and prestigious recognition to its international career, winning the 2026 German Design Award in the Excellent Product Design – Lighting category.

This is Vistosi's fifth victory at the German Design Awards, a result that confirms the company's ability to consistently stand out in the most important international design scenarios.

Promoted by the German Design Council, an institution founded in 1953 with the aim of promoting design as a driver of innovation, culture, and economics, the German Design Awards represent one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. Each year, they honor projects that stand out for their design quality, innovation, sustainability, and aesthetic value, helping to define new directions in contemporary design.

In recent years, Vistosi has built a strong legacy, winning five awards at the German Design Awards: Groove in 2024, Anisette, Faro, and Riketta in 2025, and now, Dione in the 2026 edition.

This achievement is part of a history studded with successes: over the past twenty years, the company has received over 35 international design awards, awarded to collections that have become true icons of the Vistosi catalog. The 2025–2026 edition of the German Design Awards attracted record numbers, with thousands of applications from 59 countries, over 2,000 participating companies, and 33 projects awarded in the Lighting category. The international jury, composed of experts from 16 nations, awarded Dione for his compositional elegance, the purity of his forms, and the excellence of his technical solution.

Founded in 1991 in La Neuveville, Switzerland, atelier oï is an international architecture and design studio known for its interdisciplinary approach, combining architecture, interior design, product design, and scenography into a single vision.

The studio's name itself encapsulates its philosophy: the letters O, I, and A respectively refer to Object, Idea, and Action, three elements that constantly interact throughout the creative process. Each project is based on the pursuit of a balance between matter, function, and emotion, with a particular focus on experimentation with materials, artisanal quality, and sensory experience.
