Another major accolade for Vistosi: Riketta, the collection of pendant lights, has been shortlisted for the Archiproducts Design Awards 2024, one of the most prestigious international awards in the world of design and architecture.

This selection once again confirms Vistosi’s ability to develop projects in which research, high-quality materials and a culture of craftsmanship come together with a contemporary aesthetic. Riketta thus joins an international selection of products that have distinguished themselves through their originality, design quality and ability to interpret the demands of contemporary design.

Riketta stems from a desire to reinterpret Murano glass through a design characterised by soft, sinuous forms. The lamp’s structure creates an interplay of volumes and overlapping layers that places the glass centre stage, transforming light into a decorative and architectural element.

The collection showcases Vistosi’s ability to work with materials using traditional craftsmanship and through ongoing formal exploration. The result is a lamp with a striking visual presence, capable of adapting to different settings and creating a sophisticated atmosphere through the way it diffuses light.

The nomination for the Archiproducts Design Awards therefore recognises both the design merit of Riketta and, at the same time, Vistosi’s philosophy: to reinterpret the tradition of Murano glass through contemporary design, whilst keeping quality, research and innovation at the heart of everything we do.
