Puppet Ring - Technical improvements

The aim of this technical improvement is to increase the stability of the diffuser, speed up assembly and reduce the risk of damage to the threads on the components.

In detail:

• The use of the same material for both the cup and the ring ensures that the components operate without interference

• The increased diameter of the ring nut and the greater thickness ensure a wider contact surface during installation.

• Doubling the thread pitch creates a ‘guide’ system that ensures the glass is positioned correctly, thereby guaranteeing a consistently flat and secure fit. This modification makes assembly easier and reduces installation time.

• Increased diameter of the glass opening: improves compatibility and durability, and makes it easier to clean.

• A cover cap with increased height, designed to ensure a cleaner, more proportionate and formally balanced appearance.

The updated version of the frame is not compatible with the previously marketed version unless the lens holder and metal ring are replaced with the new version.

As regards the lenses, those with a smaller lens diameter will also remain available.

New mounting system featuring a safety mechanism comprising an electric cable and a steel wire rope, complete with a locking kit.

This measure applies to models with diameters of 22 and 28 cm and is designed to ensure safety by protecting the suspension from external stresses.

• The integration involves the incorporation of a specialised laser-cut section that allows the steel cable to pass through and be secured

• The positioning of the cable relative to the electrical cable outlet has been specifically designed with a slight offset from the geometric centre. This technical solution has been devised to ensure the lamp’s balance and perfect vertical alignment
