Jeff nominated for the Good Design Awards 2026

Vistosi proudly announces Jeff's nomination for the 2026 Good Design Awards, among the most prestigious international awards for contemporary design excellence. Sponsored by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design together with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design, and Urban Studies, the award annually recognizes projects that stand out for their innovation, design quality, and ability to anticipate global design evolution.

With Jeff, Vistosi presents a collection that interprets light as a true architectural element, capable of shaping spaces through a perfect balance of aesthetic research, technological innovation, and craftsmanship. The project stems from the desire to transcend the traditional concept of a lighting fixture, transforming light into a dynamic and dramatic presence that engages with the architecture and enhances its volumes.

The collection combines a high-performance integrated LED source with pure rigadin crystal, one of the most iconic techniques in the Murano tradition. The result is a system of essential and refined lighting elements, in which the transparency of the glass and the precision of the light blend to create compositions of great visual impact, while maintaining lightness and formal elegance.

The project is based on a concept of light as a living material, capable of defining space and adapting to multiple design contexts. The ultra-compact structure, completely redesigned compared to traditional systems, eliminates the central support bar, significantly reducing overall dimensions and lending the composition an even cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic. The collection's modularity also allows for customized configurations, from linear installations to more complex compositions, offering great design freedom for residential, hospitality, and contract environments.

Every detail has been studied to achieve a balance between form and function. Invisible connection systems eliminate the presence of visible screws, enhancing the purity of the design, while the advanced optical design ensures uniform light diffusion, high visual comfort, and efficient thermal management, contributing to the product's superior overall performance.

The nomination for the 2026 Good Design Awards represents important recognition of Vistosi's research and its ability to combine the ancient tradition of Murano glassblowing with the most advanced lighting technologies. Jeff thus brings a new interpretation of light to the international scene: a contemporary design language in which innovation, design, and craftsmanship coexist in perfect harmony, confirming the company's commitment to developing solutions that transform light into authentic architecture.
