Favaretto & Partners

Founded in 1973 by Paolo Favaretto and renamed Favaretto & Partners in 2009 with the arrival of his son Francesco Favaretto, the studio is one of the most established names in contemporary Italian design. For over fifty years, it has developed projects ranging from product design to furniture, from lighting to office systems, with an approach based on curiosity, tenacity, technical expertise, and continuous experimentation.

The studio's design philosophy is based on the belief that good design arises from a balance between creativity, technological innovation, and knowledge of production processes. Each project is conceived to improve the quality of daily life through functional, accessible, and long-lasting solutions. This vision is fully expressed in the principles of Design for All, promoted by the studio since its inception, according to which products and environments must be designed to meet the needs of the greatest possible number of people, without sacrificing aesthetic quality and innovation.

Over the years, Favaretto & Partners has built a multidisciplinary design culture in which design, engineering, and research are in constant dialogue. With over 500 projects developed for international companies, the firm has developed a wide-ranging experience that allows it to address a wide range of fields, always maintaining a consistent design language characterized by formal rigor, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of industrial dynamics.

The collaboration with Vistosi stems from a shared design vision that enhances Murano blown glass through research, innovation, and manufacturing quality. For the company, Favaretto & Partners designed the Jube, Trepai, and Sata collections, three distinct interpretations of light united by a contemporary language and meticulous attention to construction details. Jube, now one of Vistosi's most iconic and beloved collections, perfectly expresses the studio's ability to combine technical precision and formal elegance, while Trepai and Sata explore the expressive potential of glass through essential geometries, compositional balance, and innovative lighting solutions. These collections demonstrate the studio's desire to transform artisanal tradition into a contemporary and timeless design language.

Over the course of its history, Favaretto & Partners has received over a hundred international awards, including the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award, the Good Design Award, the Archiproducts Design Award, selections for the ADI Design Index, and numerous other prestigious prizes. This achievement confirms the studio's role as a key player in contemporary Italian design, capable of combining creativity, innovation, and design culture with a constant eye to the future.
